Not a bad idea.. although it may make for two many forums (that would be 3 more, plus a forum for "General Strategy" that wasn't race specific), so it'd have to be something revisited again in the future once there is more traffic here.

I think that discussion on strategy will always involve more than one race and it'll be hard to limit ppl from posting. Maybe a few stickies in the strat forum for each race.

Modulus, you seem to have kind of an old school view on hacks and cheats... That's pretty chill, but what I am seeing people talk about in this is simple things that could be started by other people. In all the different sections you have the option of starting a new thread, and that is something anyone can do. So possibly, people can just start their own threads about the different races.

Yeah I was only kidding. I don't understand why people enjoy using cheats and hacks. It wastes everyone's time including the person that is hacking. The whole enjoyment of the game is the challenge of it all.

Cheats are one thing; I can understand why players playing the single-player campaigns may resort to cheating; perhaps they are only 8 or so, or perhaps it's somebody who just isn't any good at video games but loves to play them... although I'd still encourage those people to try to win legitimately; it will be more rewarding in the end.

But hacking is another thing. It ruins the game for others, and that's when it's just crossing the line. Why bother playing multiplayer if you want to hack? I never understood why people want to do this... it's truely sad in my opinion..

I agree. In fact, I will admit that sometime when I am playing singleplayer, I will put in some cheats just fro fun to see all the stuff I can build really quickly. Or if I ever got bored playign a campaign level, I would just type "there is no cow level" and skip it!
I can't believe I still remember that.
But I have never, and never will hack. Because, like you said, it wastes everybodies time!
