Forum/Category Suggestions

I've finished creating all the various categories and forums on the site, but am wondering if I've missed one or two important ones.

I didn't add a separate VOD section as the Tournaments forum should be the place to post them. I think I'm missing something related to "Strategy", but maybe not...

Anyhow, if anyone has any suggestions on new forums to add, don't be shy

Maybe there should be a seperate news forums for big announcments, to make it easier for people to read up on the overall progress of the game.

Also, any plans on making this site into more than just forums?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did think of making such a forum, but thought the Starcraft 2 section would be enough, but I'll rethink it now.

As of right now I'm not planning on develping the site beyond the forums, but I'm definitely open to the idea of expanding the site later. However, right now I want to focus solely on the forums, getting it skinned, building the community, etc.

And one more suggestion, Its kind of a personal preference though,
switching to conventional postbit vB Options > Style & Language Settings > Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template

I've already gone through all the settings and modified everything to my own liking I believe that you'll get used to the "new" postbit. It was a little strange for me too at first, but all my forums have been using it for a long time now and it seems to fare a lot better.

Anyhow, it will all look different when our skin is done within a few days

I just can't understand why this "Ads" doing up, left and why is there ?But I like the forum.

The forum is still undergoing some changes so nothing you see yet is final (man, I sound like Blizzard now!). The left side will actually be for expansion into other areas of the site other than just the forum, such as news, screenshots, replays, etc.

I like this idea. It could come in handy when things really start rolling and there are announcements more frequently. Also, it would be a lot easier to just see a list of announcements on a forum as opposed to having to browse through the official site.

This may be a childish idea, but perhaps a forum where people can discuss/debate the different races and why they are better or worse than others, or stories about what they've done with the different races, or simply just stories about starcraft.

Why don't you branch the strategy section for each races?

If I like Terran, then I'll go to Strategy - Terran section, and so on. I think that would be nice!
