Main article

- 1st picture is exploding nuclear bomb.
- 2nd picture is viking in walker mode.
- 3rd picture is concept art of reaper.
- Siege tank got some graphical upgrade, and it will be showed in Blizzcon.
- There is no more new infomation in this article.

Unit article

1. Ghost (1st picture)
- Of course, he still has a stealth ability, and be able to launch a Nuclear strike.
- He got 2 new ability - Snipe, Launching xxx (Sorry, Limit of reverse-translation)
- Snipe is an ability which can deals huge damage to the target except a Mechanical unit.
- Launching xxx is an ability that summons 6 marines to the battlefield.

2. Battlecruiser (no picture)
- Got a new upgrade called Plasma injection (Of course, Not exact) which can deals huge AoE damage to ground targets.

3. Viking (2nd and 3rd picture)
- In walker mode, Viking can attack a ground target with Gatling gun.
- In fighter mode, he can attack an aerial target.
- Transform ability can be accessed by fighter mode upgrade.

4. Banshee (4th picture)
- Bomber unit which can attack only a ground target.
- Uses a missile volley which deals huge AoE damage to ground targets.
- Also has a stealth ability.

5. Reaper (5th picture)
- He has a mining ability.
- His mine is quite bit different from vulture's.
- A litter later after mining, it targets on building or unit which didn't show any movement, and explodes.

6. Thor (6th picture)
- Unusually, He is built by SCV.
- He has some siege weapon which can deals a huge damage to building or large object.
- But his weapon cooldown is long and turn speed is very slow, so he is weak to hit-and-run strategy.

7. Cobra (7th picture)
- Fast hover vehicle with two rail gun.
- He can shoot while moving.

8. Siege tank
- Got some new graphical upgrade.

9. Marine
- Still has a range upgrade and stim-pack upgrade.
- He got a 15 HP upgrade and shield upgrade. (Confusing, but Both are seperate in the article.)

10. SCV
- No new infomation.

1. Command center (1st picture)
- It can carry 5 SCV when it rift-off.
- It can be upgrade to Planetary fortress
- PF can fires to an amount of enemy.

2. Tech-center & Reactor (2nd picture, and major change ever in starcraft 2)
- These are new mechanism of add-on building.
- Major production building (aka barrack, factory, starport) uses them.
- Tech-center provides capability of creating high tech unit (Ex. medic in barrack, tank in factory)
- Reactor provides capability of creating 2 units at same time. (Ex. 2 marines in barrack, 2 Vikings in Factory)
- You can not connect both add-on to same building, so you can not train 2 high tech unit at same time (Ex. 2 medic in barrack)


3. Bunker
- Same as original

4. Sensor dome, Radar dome
- Sensor dome is detector building
- Radar dome can senses enemy in large area, even in unexplored battle field.
- But Radar dome is exposed to enemy, so opponent can avoid its sense area while rushing to the base.

5. Supply depot
- As you know, It can submerges into ground in order to make path.

6. Missile Turret
- Same as original.

The picture of the nuke looks nice. Also a few questions:
1. For the ghost launch ability, does he automatically summon the marines even if they haven't been built yet or is it merely a recall like ability?

2. Thor will be able to move right? He has legs but since hes built by SCVs I thought it might be a missile turret like unit.

3. I don't really get the Sensor and Radar Domes. Are they like comsat stations or are they something different?

Taking into consideration all those listed terran upgrades, I can't wait to see that they've done to the zerg.

A German forum also had several updates posted. I'm not sure if I like all this information being leaked to foreign sites or if I would be getting small bits of information from the official site regularly.

Translated:

PROTOSS:
  • Upgrades are available from the Forge
  • The production queue is still limited to a maximum of 5 units.
  • Gateways can be upgraded to 'Warp Gates' which allow units to be warped in anywhere there is Pylon energy. It takes 30 seconds to teleport a unit in total (unsure). At the destination, a unit will take 5 seconds to completely warp in (you can see this happening in first gameplay trailer). During this time, the unit is vulnerable to attack and cannot retaliate.
  • Phase cannons will disappear if they are in energy form and are out of pylon power.
  • The Cybernetics core will unlock Stalkers, Soul Hunters and Immortals (obviously no longer Soul Hunters since they have been scraped). Not sure about the accuracy of this point as it has been stated in another interview that the twilight council will unlock these units...
  • High Templar still has Psionic storm. In addition to this, they can cast a type of stasis field that will last 15 seconds
  • Tall grass and plants will hide smaller units completely from view (not in the mini-map)
  • There are observatories that start out as neutral structures which will give large vision radius when captured by a player.
  • The Twilight Archon has no special abilities as of yet
  • Shield batteries will not be in the game, this may change if there is a demand for it during beta tests, etc.
  • The Colossus costs about 2 times as much as a reaver will.
  • Terrain now features 'destroyable elements', for example, rocks that can be broken to block off ramps
  • Star Relics have the ability to cloak units underneath them like the Arbiter. They will remain visible while cloaking all units underneath it. The difference from arbiters is that they must remain stationary (units underneath may move)
  • Star Relics now have hallucination spell
  • Star Relics have a 'Detonate' ability. It allows them lock a blue beam onto an enemy unit. If it remains locked on that unit for some seconds, the unit will explode. You can escape by fleeing, or if the Star Relic is destroyed in time.
  • The cost for the Mothership is 400 minerals, 400 gas and 10 unit supply. It has two separate upgrades (maybe the black hole spell/more energy?) which cost 300 minerals and 300 gas EACH, totaling 1000 minerals and gas.

TERRAN:
  • The command center can carry 5 SCV's while lifting off (already known)
  • The Barracks and factory can have the tech center and reactor add ons (already known, however, Starport was not mentioned...)
  • The Sensor Dome will let you see enemy units in a large radius (shown by a green layer) as red dots (even in undescovered territory) but the type of unit is not revealed.
  • The Cobra unit can attack both air and ground
  • Battle Cruisers have 2 abilities. The Yamato gun similar to the original and a new 'Plasma torpedos' which deal area of effect damage to ground units. (also, it mentions something about only being able to choose 1 or the other...)
  • Vikings in mech form (ground) can actually attack air units too but have LESS armor then in their fighter form?
  • Reapers have a time bomb ability. It lets them attach a bomb to a unit or building which takes 30 seconds to detonate. During this time, the bomb can be destroyed. There is a red timer bar that shows how long till it detonates. It does a lot of damage
  • It hasn't been decided yet whether the Planetary Fortress can also attack air units
  • Thor's special ability is an 'Artillery Strike'. Can do area of effect damage over a long distance using 4 cannons. Weak to air attack as he is slow and takes a long time to turn around to flee
  • Ghost's snipe ability can take down smaller units like marines, zerglings, hydralisks? They have an ability that lets them call in for reinforcements up to 8 marines at once (the info we got the other day said 6...)
  • The return of Medics has not been decided yet
  • Heroes in single player do not gain experience, they just have stronger abilities.
