i do not know but it is true atleast it does not have nothing to do with race balancing but thinking of that....................

Three races is the perfect number; 2 is not enough and 4 is just way too many. For one thing, it would take far too long to balance all 4 races properly, but then you're also adding an entire new race which would need a separate campaign, etc.

Anyhow, I may be wrong but I believe it's confirmed that SC2 will definitely have only 3 races.

Its kind of obvious they are not going to make a 4th race

Yea I agree. And Shadow, if you play WC3 at all then you'd know that it's been balanced over and over again, yet people are still crying about it.

HUH? Anyway, sometimes, an extra race will make the balancing so hard, it might take years to perfect. Warcraft 3's balance is still nowhere near the level of starcraft, and starcraft took a good 6-8 years before it settled down.
