Against the grain
I'm gonna go against the grain and say P. Not because I'm a P player and want desperately to believe that I have all kinds of options early on, but because I really think the power of the zealot and dragoon gives a few more options.
Here's a huge generalization about Terran openings: get to factory. Unless you're massing marines in vanilla, you're going to get to factory. We can call it g2f if you like acronyms. Also it's easier to type.
Toss has more options. Zealots, dragoons, dragoons AND zealots, DT rush, reaver rush, 5min temps, Arbiter rush (it's fun when you pull it off, usually only applies to vanilla, but thats what i'm playing right now) the stove (oh man, there's a throwback. 5 cookies to anyone who remembers the exact stove build order). I think with a protoss opponent it's tougher to tell where they're going. When I play vs Terran, I have one concern: is he marine bumrushing me? If not, I know tanks and drops and vultures with spideymines are coming.

That is not true that is just for way your going to attack see when they're saying strategies they're meaning in diffent situations different maps different players or getting tteamed the large abilities they range and the flexibity of the terran has so many ways to counter your options easily.

They're pretty balanced in terms of strategy, I'd think terran has a bit more tricks, but not really strategy.

Terran have more "structured" tactics, but they take some time.
Zerg is Damage By Volume (DBV). Protoss I think is a mix of unit strength and structured attacks.
If you have an avid player, you can twart Terran attacks easily, due to the time it takes to mount a effective offense(i.e. siege tank conversion, spider mines[i know they never get used but], getting a ghost in the potential area, getting battlecruisers in range for Y cannon, on site bunker).

Just because one race may have more strategies doesn't mean they're not balanced.

As a zerg player I feel I have to defend my little freaks ^^
I agree that regarding units zerg doesn't have as many choices early on BUT, how the zerg player is starting up can vary alot although we are often in a bind when we play against a random player then we really really have to get a drone away fast to decide what to build.
A favorite among many but personally I never use it is the extractor cancel for 10/9 unit.
Alot more common to go for 9/9 -> overlord.
Ofc 8 drone > pool or 9 pool is a favorite as well.
Zerg does have choices to make but it doesn't involve what kind of units (almost always ling/muta or hydra/lurks) but how to get them out vs. taking that early exp or not.
Although I have to put my vote on Toss, I agree on thier huge selection of tactics to choose from (all that talk about zerg to vote toss? yea I know, sucks ^^).
